Let's celebrate it together! A milestone session with Second Heart Photography freezes time in this moment. We'll start with some basic portraits of your little one, capturing all the personality they've developed, and end with everyone's favourite: CAKE!
I take care of the details: set creation, cake ordering, studio setup and cleanup, and even bring your fave Dunkin' to the studio so you can relax! All you have to do is bring your amazing toddler. (Yep, they're a toddler now, mama.)

By now, you've probably already sent me some information and we're getting to know each other better to make sure I am the best fit to work with your family to document this fleeting and emotional time.

2. Let's get it on the calendar... kind of
We'll find a date right around your baby's birthday to schedule your session. Typically, cake smash and milestone sessions are scheduled 1-2 weeks before baby's birthday to allow galleries to be delivered before their birthday. Sessions should be booked at least 30 days in advance to allow for cake ordering and set creation.
Once your retainer is paid and your date is booked, I'll order the cake and start creating your set design based on our ideas and vision.

4. Session day
I am so excited for your session! We are going to have such a great time capturing these moments.
5. your photographs
Within two weeks of your session, you'll receive your private online gallery to view and select your photo collection. From your gallery, you can download your digital images and use your complimentary artwork credit to order custom artwork for your home.

Pricing Details
Pricing for milestone sessions is simple & straightforward.
A nonrefundable retainer is required to book your session, which covers reserving time on my calendar, reserving your studio time, ordering your cake, and my time and talent during your milestone session.
After your session, you will receive your online gallery of the best of the best images from your session. You can apply your retainer to a collection of images that best suits your family's needs. A complimentary artwork credit is included with every collection so you can have tangible heirloom artwork from this moment in your life.
Smash cake and basic set creation are included with all collections; allergen free cake available upon request; elaborate set requests may require additional fee.
Payment plans available upon request.
Motherhood and first year bundles available.
All collections and artwork are subject to 6.35% CT State Sales Tax.
